IN 79 AD, the eruption of the Mount Vesuvius volcano exploded burying the town of Pompeii under layers of ash where it would lay forgotten for 1500 years. This beautifully preserved time capsule is still be excavated today. In this episode we discuss the eruption, its human toll and what it means for modern day Pompeii.
